Breathing is Badass! It saved me!
When I was living in U.K I had a health scare with my breathing. I was dealing with severe chronic bronchitis. It hospitalized me for one week. It was scary to not be able to breathe. If you’ve never known that feeling, each second is life or death. Yoga breathing exercise is what saved me!

Breathing is underestimated. If it wasn’t for the breathing techniques that I knew how to do, it would have got me into a panic attack as I was trying to handle the lack of oxygen I was experiencing. It could have been my last breath.
So important to know how to breathe when we feel panic and scared. Breathe from the diaphragm, not from upper chest.
My connection to breathing goes wayy back when I first saw Swami Ram Dev, the yoga master of India show breathing techniques. I followed his teachings and still do when I teach yoga breathing.
